Hello Again...

I'm a horrible blogger.  I want to start a blog then I do and then I do a few posts and "poof" it's over that fast.  Now I feel like I should blog again- I would so like to be consistent with this one, but as always life likes to get in the way of the things I "want" to do.  I'll give you a quick rundown on life lately...I am now a mom to 3, yes 3 wonderful little boys, Aidan (12yrs), Kolten (2yrs), and Dalton (6months).  My husband Ross puts up with me each and every day (some days he likes me more than others :-))...and our St. Bernard Roofus is now about 4yrs old and is epileptic.  I work full time, and part time at another job, in addition to taking 6 credit hours at the local university in the hopes of SOMEDAY finishing my bachelors degree in Accounting.  Aidan is in his fourth year of tackle football, and just started at a new school this year as well.  Kolten turned 2 at the end of June and still is not talking much...although some feel it has more to do with the fact that he is strong willed and stubborn, we had him evaluated with the local Child Find office and he's currently working with an Early Interventionist to help with speech and purposeful play once a week.  Dalton is doing great- eating like a champ and already over 20lbs at 6 months...he's my little tank and we call him "bubba".  So that's a rundown of my crazy life lately.  I count my blessings each and every day that we are all healthy and well and alive to enjoy this next day...the present really is a gift- some days are better than others that is for sure, but we do our best each and every day.  I think you will be seeing me a bit more lately as I try to use this as my outlet to get things out.  Life has been somewhat of a challenge lately with lots of stress...so if I can get it all out here then maybe I won't feel like I'm bottling it up all the time.  I'll leave you with that for now and look...the first post in what- over a year???  Congrats to me!

Life is so busy and I like to waste time on pinterest...

There are so many other things that I could be doing with my time, homework, housework, work...but I choose to be a pinterest addict...It is my new favorite thing, so many ideas on what I want to get accomplished and done in my house...so many recipes for new foods...and so on...but so little time.  I've been playing with the new camera- still figuring out all the setting information and I really want to take a course in Photoshop (and of course get photoshop) so there are still many things on the want list of life.  Life as usual is busy busy...taking 6 credit hours, working full time, working part time, and trying to see my family means that midnight is the usual bedtime normally...I'm starting to get used to the exhaustion.  Kolten is full on crawling now...he is super fast too...certainly improved from the army crawl we got on Christmas Eve...at this rate he might be walking by 9 months (I don't know if I can handle that!)  So we'll see...he's standing in his crib now which means time for it to come down further, which we will do tomorrow.  Well I must get some sleep but I felt like I was really neglecting to blog...something that was one of my goals for the year.  Bad Me...let's see if I can get back into the swing of it!!

Not quite getting the hang of this blogging thing..

Happy Holidays!!  It's been a long time since I've blogged, I'm not quite in the groove of making posts- especially with the holidays coming around and making us busy.  It's my busy time at work from now through February, and with school it just makes things so much more busy!  I can't wait to show you our holiday cards that I'm working on...I took the boys to see Santa and I'm just so happy with how the pictures turned out- I can't wait!  Well back to work (since I'm cheating and making a quick post at work)...I'll write more later!

Daily Photo fail...

Happy Halloween 2011

So I have NOT had the time to do a daily photo...although I want to it's just hard to find the time to fit it in and then come back to the computer, download it and add a blog posting.  I like the idea I've seen on several blogs I follow...the "Wordless Wednesday's" are pretty cool.  I might start to do that here soon...I really want to work on my photos and taking pictures since I've got a great camera now.  Next purchase will be Photoshop...I'm so amazed with what people can do with Photoshop- then I'll need to take a class to learn how to use it.  Happy Late Halloween by the way!!  We had a great time, Aidan with out with his friend Aryn and did the loop around Grandma's house with Uncle Austin- they got lots of loot and had a great time!

Pumpkin Patch Day- Rock Creek Farms

The hardest thing about tackling this project to blog and take pictures is coming from the fact that my laptop died earlier in the year so our only computer is the one in the dungeon basement, and some days I cannot manage to come down here...Friday night and it's the first time I've set foot in the basement since last Sunday...well that will have to change.  I need to learn how to add the watermarks to my photos that everyone does...I'm sure I will learn at some point.  For now I'll just post them and hope that nobody try's to use my photos.  I took today off from work to take the boys to the pumpkin patch and it was so much fun!  Check out my handsome boys!!  At this point I haven't learned to do any editing to the photos so they are just as they were taken.  I hope to learn some of the fancy editing here soon and I'll try it out on my images.
